My work involved a lot of research to understand the ‘open’ concept and the intricacies of the humanitarian community, and to spell out what Open Humanitarianism would mean. I led the project, pro-actively reached out to key contacts from all over the world, helped design the content for the website, and built a detailed framework for the overall concept.
•Invested the intricacies of negotiations and communication amongst people who are working in a digitally-enabled and geographically disbursed team. My research was intended to be the first phase of understanding the optimal way that entities like Digital Humanitarian Network can best support its members both in increasing impact and providing conflict resolution.
