I’m a native English speaker from London with a Master’s degree in Fine Art, specialist teacher training in Art, and a Level 5, 200-hour TEFL Diploma. I have almost five years of experience teaching English using fun, engaging and immersive ESL methods.
I am also bilingual in French and have worked in more traditional pedagogical environnments, such as collège, lycée and university in France, allowing for an understanding of what the curriculums and standards are in French state schools and universities.
I have also worked as an activity leader in Montessori/Reggio Emilia schools and leisure centres where pupils are immersed and active in their learning of English (often through art, crafts, science, sports...); an approach that I enjoy intergrating into my English lessons.
I teach all ages and all levels, from complete beginners to advanced and mastery-level learners. Whether you want to improve your English for work, school, travel, everyday life, or simply to feel more confident having conversations, I can create lessons around your individual goals and interests.
My teaching style is structured but creative, focused but relaxed. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson and genuinely interested in what they are learning.

Je suis anglophone natif originaire de Londres, titulaire d’un Master en Beaux-Arts, d’une formation spécialisée dans l’enseignement des arts plastiques, ainsi que d’un diplôme TEFL de niveau 5 (200 heures). Je possède près de cinq ans d’expérience dans l’enseignement de l’anglais, en utilisant des méthodes ludiques, interactives et immersives adaptées à l’apprentissage de l’anglais langue étrangère (ESL).
Je suis également bilingue en français et j’ai travaillé dans des environnements pédagogiques plus traditionnels, notamment au collège, au lycée et à l’université en France. Cette expérience m’a permis de bien comprendre les programmes scolaires ainsi que les attentes et standards des établissements scolaires et universitaires français.
J’ai également travaillé en tant qu’animateur dans des écoles et centres de loisirs suivant les pédagogies Montessori et Reggio Emilia, où les élèves sont activement immergés dans leur apprentissage de l’anglais, souvent à travers l’art, les activités manuelles, les sciences, le sport, etc. C’est une approche que j’aime intégrer à mes cours d’anglais.
J’enseigne à tous les âges et à tous les niveaux, des débutants complets aux apprenants avancés et de niveau maîtrise. Que vous souhaitiez améliorer votre anglais pour le travail, les études, les voyages, la vie quotidienne, ou simplement gagner en confiance pour communiquer à l’oral, je peux créer des cours adaptés à vos objectifs et à vos centres d’intérêt.
Mon style d’enseignement est à la fois structuré et créatif, rigoureux tout en restant détendu. Je suis convaincu que les élèves apprennent mieux lorsqu’ils sont activement impliqués dans le cours et qu’ils s’intéressent réellement à ce qu’ils apprennent.

Whenever possible, I like to build lessons around subjects that genuinely interest you.
Perhaps you love art, nature, sport, films, music, travel, food or animals. Maybe you are preparing for a holiday, moving to an English-speaking country, getting ready for a job interview, or simply want to become more confident speaking English.
We can use these interests to create realistic and engaging situations where you can practise English naturally.
For example, if you are preparing for a holiday, we might practise ordering food in a restaurant. If you love art, we might use paintings, artists and exhibitions as the basis for vocabulary, discussion, description and storytelling.

Dans la mesure du possible, j’aime construire mes cours autour de sujets qui vous intéressent réellement.
Vous aimez peut-être l’art, la nature, le sport, les films, la musique, les voyages, la cuisine ou les animaux. Vous préparez peut-être des vacances, vous envisagez de vous installer dans un pays anglophone, vous vous préparez à un entretien d’embauche, ou vous souhaitez simplement gagner en confiance à l’oral en anglais.
Nous pouvons nous appuyer sur vos centres d’intérêt pour créer des situations réalistes et stimulantes, dans lesquelles vous pourrez pratiquer l’anglais de manière naturelle.

Every learner is different, so our lessons can focus on the areas that matter most to you.
Perhaps you want to concentrate primarily on speaking and listening because you want to feel more confident in conversations. Or perhaps you need help with reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary or sentence structure.
We can focus on specific areas whenever necessary, but I believe the strongest lessons bring different aspects of English together. Grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading and writing all support one another, and an immersive approach allows us to practise these skills naturally.
As we work together, I will pay attention to the areas where you may be struggling. If I notice that you are having difficulty with a particular grammatical structure, vocabulary, pronunciation or aspect of communication, we can adapt future lessons to focus specifically on improving it.
My aim is not simply to teach you English, but to help you become a more confident, capable and independent English speaker.
Most importantly, I want you to enjoy your lessons. Learning a language takes time, and I believe that lessons should be something you look forward to — not something you have to endure!
Our first lesson is a trial lesson, giving us the opportunity to get to know each other and work out how I can best support you.
We can use fun icebreakers and conversation activities while I assess your current English level, including your speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar and sentence-building skills.
We’ll also talk about:
Your age and current level of English
Why you want to learn English
Your personal goals and what you would like to achieve
Your interests and hobbies
Whether you need English for business, school, travel, everyday conversation or another specific purpose
Which areas of English you feel confident with and which you find more difficult
This allows me to understand you as a learner, rather than simply teaching from a fixed lesson plan.
