À propos de Maria
Hi! My name is Maria and I am currently doing my Bachelor’s thesis at ETH Zurich.
I have been playing basketball for around 12–13 years and I have been coaching since I was 16.
Basketball has been an important part of my life for many years, and I especially enjoy working with children and teenagers and helping them develop both their basketball skills and their confidence.
I have experience working with young players and organising training sessions adapted to different ages and levels.
I am patient, positive and energetic, and I like to create a training environment where players feel comfortable making mistakes, learning and improving.
I am particularly happy to work with girls who are starting basketball or who want to gain more confidence in their game, although I also coach boys.
I am currently living in Zurich and available for individual or small-group basketball sessions.

I offer personalised basketball training for children and teenagers, from beginners to young players who already play for a team.
Each session is adapted to the player’s age, level and goals. We can work on:
• Ball handling and dribbling
• Shooting technique
• Passing and decision-making
• Footwork and coordination
• 1-on-1 skills
• Defence
• Basketball IQ and game situations
• Confidence on the court
My sessions are structured and focused on improvement, but I also believe that young players should enjoy the training and have fun while learning.
I offer both individual sessions and small-group training.
My goal is not only to help young players improve technically, but also to help them feel more confident, motivated and comfortable on the court.
