My name is Vlad, I recently graduated from a top British university (LSE) and moved to Paris a few months ago. I was born in Latvia and moved to London when I was 14. I lived in London for more than nine years and so obtained the British citizenship.

I adapt my lessons according to my student and the subject matter. If I need to help my student to learn a lesson, I will give him/her some advices/methods of memorization depending on whether it is visual or auditory. If I have to give a language course, I will identify his or her gaps/weaknesses that need to be worked on more intensively. If I have to help my student to do an exercise, he/she will first have to look for the answer by himself/herself, I will not give him the solution otherwise he/she will not be able to progress (we learn from our mistakes !) : we will therefore review the lesson, try to apply it to the exercise and, if a mistake is made, I will do my best to explain the why and the how so that he/she understands and does not make the same mistake again in the next exercise :) I am patient with my students, everyone learns at their own pace, if it is necessary to do more exercises than requested, we will do more !
