À propos de Matthew
I’m an American English teacher based in the Geneva area, where I recently relocated for family reasons. I’m CELTA-certified and have experience teaching English, preparing students for exams such as IELTS, and leading writing workshops.
I’m also the author of the novels Pure Cosmos Club and The Absolved. That background shapes how I approach teaching, with a focus on clarity, structure, and helping students express themselves with confidence in both spoken and written English.
Over the past year, I’ve been studying French intensively, so I understand what it’s like to be on the other side of the classroom. I know the challenges of learning a new language, and I aim to create lessons that are practical, supportive, and focused on real progress.
My goal is to help you feel more confident using English in real situations, not just in the classroom.
