À propos de ROXY
Solid 7 years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
In the Philippines, I used to handle classes to Japanese students online. I catered different classes with specific aims depending on students' needs such as to pass an exam ( TOIEC or TOEFL), to explain a grammatical point, to translate to English or to have free conversations with complex discussions about a certain topic that strongly developed their English language communication skills through reading, listening, grammar, comprehension and writing.
In 2016, I handled both elementary and intermediate classes for adults in France (Lyon and Strasbourg) focusing on grammar and effective communication.
Since 2018, in Switzerland, particularly in Geneva, I'm handling adults (students, professionals and retirees) from different walks of life who wish to learn and improve their English language for travelling, for work (finding jobs, preparing presentations, handling interviews, writing or responding to emails, etc. ) and to some that learns a foreign language for fun or a pastime.
Classes are composed of mixed students coming from different cultural backgrounds, both for adults and children, from beginner to advance levels.

As a teacher, I'm not just focus in following strictly the rules of grammar, spelling or intonation. But also in developing the students' interest in learning the English language, driving their motivations and engaging them more in activities that helps them improve their abilities through the use of their own unique multiple intelligences.
