À propos de Kauê
Kauê Marques holds a Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil.
As a guest artist, he has performed in prestigious projects and guitar festivals, including the Movimento Violão - Novos Rumos, the UNESP/UNICAMP/USP Guitar Meetings, the III Circuito de Violão das Vertentes, TocaIA, and solo recitals hosted by the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG).
With a strong passion for contemporary music, Kauê has premiered national works by renowned composers such as Alexandre Lunsqui and Steven Mackey.
His artistic path includes performances in some of Brazil's most prestigious music festivals: the Assad Festival, the 49th Campos do Jordão International Winter Festival, the 9th Sesc International Music Festival, and the 15th Curitiba Music Festival.
Throughout his career, he has honed his skills under the guidance of world-renowned guitarists and ensembles, including the Brazil Guitar Duo, Duo Assad, Duo Siqueira Lima, Edelton Gloeden, Eduardo Fernandez, Fabio Zanon, Ignacio Rodes, Johan Fostier, Mario Ulloa, Paulo Porto Alegre, Stephen Goss, and Tilman Hoppstock.
Recently selected for an international program, Kauê is currently based in Belgium, continuing his academic and artistic journey at an international level.

I looked for Kauê because I wanted to understand the 'why' behind the notes, and not just memorize finger positions. He explains music theory in a light way, applying it directly to the guitar.
The class was a perfect 10! I had never even touched an acoustic guitar before and thought it was going to be rocket science, but Kauê explains things in a really simple way. I left the lesson already able to play my first sound without struggling too much. Highly recommend!
I've been learning for a week now and I'm already playing my very first chords! My fingers are still a little sore, but I couldn't be more thrilled!
Today was my very first guitar lesson and I absolutely loved it! The teacher was incredibly patient while explaining everything, and I managed to play some basic chords already. I expected it to be much more difficult, but now I'm highly motivated to keep going!
