À propos d'Abraham
I am a Mexican classical guitarist, music teacher and researcher based in Edegem, near Antwerp.
I hold a Master of Arts in Music from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where I graduated with honours.
I have approximately 15 years of experience as a guitarist and five years of experience teaching music in schools. I have worked with children and teenagers, as well as with more advanced musicians preparing repertoire, examinations and performances.
My musical background includes classical and contemporary repertoire, music analysis, interpretation, improvisation and performance. This allows me to help students not only play the correct notes, but also understand the music and develop their own artistic voice.
Lessons are available in Spanish, English, Middle German or basic Dutch.

Would you like to play classical guitar with a solid technique, better sound and a clear understanding of music?
I offer personalised classical guitar lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced players.
Lessons may include:
• Classical guitar technique and posture
• Music reading, rhythm and music theory
• Tone production, coordination and musical expression
• Repertoire adapted to your level and interests
• Preparation for conservatory entrance exams, auditions and performances
• Solutions for tension, technical difficulties and inefficient practice
• A structured practice plan to help you progress between lessons
My approach combines technique and musical expression. Instead of simply correcting mistakes, I help each student understand how to practise effectively and become a more independent musician.
Lessons are adapted to your goals, whether you are touching the guitar for the first time, returning after several years, or preparing demanding repertoire.
Available in person in Edegem and nearby areas—including Mortsel, Kontich, Hove, Wilrijk and Antwerp—or online.
