À propos de Mehdi
My name is Mehdi Chrigui. I started playing guitar at the age of 15, the desire to learn and my passion for music allowed me to quickly play in bands and on beautiful stages such as Montreux Jazz, Cully Jazz, Jazz Onze, as well as other smaller stages.
I finished my Pre-Hem course at the EJMA in Lausanne in 2020 and am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Basel. My favorite music styles are Jazz (Be-Bop, free jazz, jazz-fusion), electronic music (IDM, Drum'n'Bass..), African music (Malian, Gnawa..), hip hop, Brazilian music and avant-garde and experimental music

You've always wanted to start playing guitar but don't know where to begin? You already have some experience but you would like to boost your skills? You are already an advanced musician but you would like to dig deeper into some concepts? I'll be happy to help you develop your skills.
My lessons are for beginners to advanced guitarists. A first free lesson will be scheduled to make a first meeting, to discuss the objectives with the student and possibly his parents in order to adapt the lessons to each student. We can study in addition to the instrument: music theory, harmony, reading notes on scores, pedal effects on the instrument, improvisation.
Graduate of the Pre-Hem of the EJMA (School of Jazz and Contemporary Music of Lausanne) and currently in the Bachelor class of Lionel Loueke and Wolfgang Muthspiel at the JazzCampus of Basel, I will put all my knowledge at the service of the teaching so that the student can play the guitar and have fun as soon as possible.
