You—the one who thought that living in France would be enough to master the language—yes, I’m talking to you. I know exactly how you feel. I’ve been in your place—motivated, curious, ready to learn—and I thought immersion alone would do the trick. “If I just live where the language is spoken, I’ll pick it up naturally,” right? Well… not exactly. After months of living in Lebanon, I was still a beginner in Arabic—even though I was passionate about learning languages. That’s when I realized something: immersion isn’t enough when daily life happens in English. Let’s see if any of this sounds familiar: • You try to speak French, but people instantly reply in English. • Your job is entirely in English. • Your partner speaks French… but you don’t use it together. Yes, I’ve been there too. And I overcame it—by taking private lessons that helped me structure my learning, stay motivated, and truly live the language. Now, as a qualified French teacher with a Master’s in Educational Sciences and another in Language Didactics, I help expats like you do the same. ________________________________________ My teaching method is holistic and empowering We don’t just study grammar and vocabulary. One of the biggest barriers is fear—fear of making mistakes, fear of sounding silly. But once you let go of that, your progress skyrockets. Remember how children learn so fast? It’s not just their brains—it’s their mindset. They make mistakes freely. We’ll help you do the same. 3. Communication My approach is based on modern, active teaching methods—80% of our lessons are focused on real communication. You’ll learn grammar and vocabulary by using them in authentic conversations, so French becomes natural and enjoyable for you. ________________________________________ Teaching approach matters Let me share a story. Ten years ago, I tried pole dancing for the first time. I took one private class and felt amazing—I could do full routines right away! Later, I joined a group class… and it was a disaster. I felt clumsy, embarrassed, and almost gave up. Same activity—different conditions. The difference was how I was taught. That’s why I believe that the learning environment changes everything. In my classes, I create a safe, encouraging space where you can learn at your own rhythm, without judgment. ________________________________________ Who I teach I work mainly with expat women in France (up to level B2—the level typically required for French naturalization), as well as women abroad preparing for their move.
