Hi there ! I'm Aurelio, bass player, guitarist and singer originally from Peru, now based in Zurich. I've been performing professionally since I was 18 and my journey in music took me to a jazz school in Toulouse, France. My style blends Latin music (afro-Peruvian music as well as salsa, and cumbia) with a variety of modern popular genres like pop, funk, hip-hop, reggae and jazzy flavours. However, I really enjoy discovering new music with my students and adapting the lessons to their own music desires ! I am fluent in English, French, Spanish and I am currently learning German. Hi there ! I'm Aurelio, bass player, guitarist and singer originally from Peru, now based in Zurich. My bass teaching method is fully personalized, adapting to each student’s level, goals, and musical aspirations. For beginners, the focus is on technique and repertoire, providing an intuitive and physical approach to music—learning by playing. This hands-on method helps build confidence and musicality naturally. As students progress, we gradually introduce theory, allowing them to understand what they play, expand their creativity, and develop greater musical freedom. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, my goal is to guide you toward a deeper connection with the instrument and your own musical voice.
