However, the most important thing is that an assessment be made of every student’s specific needs.
Only then will I be able to adapt my teaching to his/her objectives, his/her competences and his/her age.
Classes may be organized in very different ways depending on students' different needs, learning profiles and time availability.
1) short and directed activities that are targeted at student's specific needs in:
grammar
written production
oral production
oral comprehension
2) oral dialogues and/or monologues (it will all depend on the student’s age and his objectives)
3) fixed objectives (i.e. special exam to prepare or special meeting to attend)
4) available time for homework

I am an English and French teacher for students of the secondary I and II in Switzerlqnd.
I have always taught English and French in bilingual schools whether in Geneva (Switzerland) or Lisbon (Portugal). I have been teaching English since 2011.
