À propos d'Ada
Hello! My name is Ada Yücel. I am a Turkish master student at Vrije Universiteit, who lives in Brussels. I am an advertising graduate, from a fully English teaching school. Currently, I am pursuing my master studies in Digital Media in Europe, again a fully English program.
I want to teach English because, throughout my years of traveling, and now living in another country, English has always opened doors for me to communicate with diverse people and create unforgettable memories. While Turkish is my mother tongue, English has always been my second language, shaping the way I build connections and even how I think. That is why I want to create opportunities for both individuals and children to learn how to form thoughts and engage in meaningful dialogue in English, enabling them to exchange experiences and develop confident communication skills.

I completed my undergraduate studies on a full scholarship at a private university where the language of instruction was 100% English. After graduating, I took the IELTS exam and obtained a C1 level English certificate with a score of 7.5. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in a fully English-taught program, and I am writing my thesis in English as well.
Throughout my primary and high school education, I attended many private language courses, which allowed me to gain strong familiarity with teaching techniques and effective learning strategies.
My approach to teaching is based on blending sustainable discipline with enjoyment, helping students integrate a new language into their everyday lives. Although English is considered easier than many other languages, overcoming shyness while forming sentences in everyday life can be challenging. With me, you will focus on expanding your vocabulary, develop listening skills through various art forms, and practice a lot of speaking.
