À propos de Daniel
I am Daniel Aztatzi, a professional doublebass player based in Gent. I obtained the Master's degree in musical performance with a specialization in orchestra at the Haute École de Musique de Genève (Switzerland) in 2021. I'm currently doing a second master's degree in performance at the Gent Conservatory.
I have collaborated with professional ensembles such as L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande(Switzerland), L'Orchestre de Chambre de Genève(Switzerland), L'Orchestre Symphonique Tunisien (Tunisie) and Ataneres Ensemble(Belgique) which has allowed me to learn from great musicians.
With the duo Les Incontournables I explore the Mexican and Latinoamerican repertoire with the guitar and the doublebass as well as writing songs in this tradition.
I'm currently playing at art galleries and jazz clubs in Gent doing free improvisation.
In the field of pedagogy, I have given music theory classes and auditory training to the students of the community orchestra of Santa Cecilia in the state of Oaxaca (Mexico) As well as guitar courses at the Respiro Dell Arte academy in Kortrijk Belgium.

More than 10 years of experience in music has allowed me to develop a method that allows my students to discover music in a sensory and intuitive way. The courses are adapted to the needs and the personal journey of each student from beginner to professional level.
I am convinced that the study of a good instrumental technique is essential for students to be able to express their own musical ideas. My goal is for each of my students to discover their own voice, teaching a solid technical base of the left hand and the French bow (if you play German bow, I can also help you) as well as the pizzicato.
I like sound experimentation, so in my courses improvisation is also explored as a way of reaffirming everything learned, promoting creativity.
