À propos de Giada
I am a medical student who has studied in different educational environments, which has taught me to be flexible and adapt to different ways of learning. I know what it takes to manage a large amount of information, and I have experimented with different study techniques throughout my own academic journey, including while preparing for a medical admission test.
I also understand that learning complex subjects, especially scientific topics, can sometimes be challenging. I am patient and willing to explain something in different ways, and as many times as necessary, until the student feels that the concept is clear.
This is not my first experience helping students: I have been tutoring for one year and have worked with around seven different students. This experience has taught me the importance of creating a supportive teamwork environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing what they do or do not understand.
I adapt my approach to each student and their individual needs. My goal is not only to help students understand their subjects, but also to help them gain confidence and become increasingly independent in their learning.

My teaching approach is based on breaking down big topics into smaller steps and explaining difficult concepts in simple and understandable language. I like to use examples to make concepts easier to understand and I encourage students to ask questions whenever something is unclear. After getting to know a student better, I also try to help them find the study and memorization methods that work best for them.
For me, it is important that students understand not only how to do an exercise, but also the concepts and mechanisms behind it. I will explain how to approach the exercises, guide them through the first steps, and then let them try independently while being there to answer their questions. My goal is to help students become increasingly confident and independent.
At the beginning of each lesson, I would first discuss upcoming tests and exams, homework, and projects with the student. Together, we would make a list of everything that needs to be done, set priorities, and decide what should be worked on first. I want the lessons to feel like teamwork, while keeping the goal of helping the student become more and more independent. At the end of the lesson, I also like to ask the student how they felt about the way we worked together and whether there is anything they would like to change or do differently.
As a medical student, I have experience dealing with a large amount of information, as well as staying organized and consistent. I have experimented with different study techniques throughout my own education, from high school in Italy and Canada, to preparing for the medical admission test and now during my medical studies. Through my medical studies, I have also developed a strong background in subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. These experiences have taught me that every student has their own way of learning, and I want to help each student find the methods that work best for them while sharing the tips and techniques I have found useful.
My lessons are aimed at elementary, middle, and high school students. I can provide general academic support and homework help, with a particular focus on biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, and English. As an Italian student who attended high school in Canada, I can also support students with their English.
