À propos d'Adrian
My Name is Adrian i am 28 years old. Currently I'm studying jazz guitar at the Conservatory in Antwerp. Before that I studied pop guitar and classical guitar in Rostock/Germany. The guitar has accompanied me since I was 12 years old and since I was 15 I have played in various bands on stages all over Germany. From cover rock bands to swing bands and chamber music there has been a lot in between. A special interest I have developed in the field of jazz, which I now focus for some time. Nevertheless, my interest in rock music, various pop artists and classical music has never disappeared. I always turn to new music and am interested in different music regardless of genre and culture.
Here is a short vita:
2008 - 2014 cello and guitar lessons in Flensburg/ Germany
2010 - 2014 active music making in bands in the Flensburg area
2014 - 2016 Living in Berlin, active music making in cover bands and world music ensembles
2016 - 2020 Study of philosophy with minor in music at the University of Hildesheim. Meanwhile activity in two big bands, one swing band, several fusion bands, bass in a rock band.
2020 - 2022 pop-world music with classical music programm at the HMT Rostock/Germany.
2022 - Jazz Guitar at the royal conservatory Antwerp

You want to start learning to play the guitar? or you already play and you need new motivation and a new input?
In the lessons I see myself as your companion who supports you in finding your own way with music. Sometimes i will challenge you and sometimes i want to stay with you in your comfort zone.
Your personal motivation and the fun you have with music is in the foreground. I see my role in fuelling your motivation with technical and theoretical suggestions, by learning new pieces and above all by making music together. And I believe that a little challenge can be fun.
I had several teachers by myself and i can offer you a broad knowledge in different genres. If you are interested in classical, jazz, rock or blues music i have for sure something which i could offer you.
I also have a big collection of books and recordings, we could work with if they fit our goals.
My lessons are for children 12 years and older as well as adults of all ages. The level can be very different. As soon as I notice with a student or a potential student that I can't help them with my skills in what they want to learn, I address that honestly.
Unfortunately I don't speak Dutch yet and only a little French, so the lessons have to be in English.
