I recently graduated this summer of 2021 with my four year university degree which I completed in three years. I studied French but concentrated on English literature as my primary subject of expertise. I have spent the last 5 years tutoring students in both French and English, specifically English writing and reading comprehension. I also write poetry and am open to those who are also interested in poetry.

I am Alex, a native English speaker from the US and I aspire to teach others English. For the past 5 years, I have been tutoring students in English literature and writing as well as French. I am bilingual and see how both languages play into one another so classes can be conducted either completely in English or a combination. Whatever the learner is most comfortable with. I recently graduated this summer of 2021 with my four year university degree which I completed in three years. I studied French but concentrated on English literature as my primary subject of expertise. What I am offering, for those who do not have a curriculum to follow, are classes based off conversational techniques accompanied by reading comprehension exercises. I am also open to giving classes to students currently in school who wish to improve their grades and need to focus on specific things pertaining to their class or their goals. I conduct all classes via Zoom in 30 minute, 1 hour, 1.5 hour, and 2 hour periods. If you have any other questions I may not have answered, please reach out to me.

Alex tutored my son every week and sometimes twice a week with reading comprehension and becoming more at ease with conversational situations. He was able to improve his grade in a very short amount of time and enjoyed his sessions with her.
She really helped our daughter in high school when she was struggling with writing better essays. Alex was attentive and adamant about her progress and always was flexible with our daughter's school schedule. She's a very clever and agreeable young lady.
