Hello,

My name is Philippe.

I grew up in Paris, France from a French father who grew up in a city famous for a drink: Cognac. My mother grew up in Portugal and met my father in London while she was restoring paintings for a gallery.

Finally, they ended up in Paris where they got 2 kids. I'm the second one.

I studied in Paris Psychology and HR Management. Then worked in different fields: Recruitment, social services, NGO and now education.

I had the opportunity to travel quite well with more than 30 countries visited and 6 where I've stayed at least 3 months.

I'm actually living in Vietnam for more than 5 years where I teach both French and English.

I'm interested in many topics such as travelling, cultures, food, art, architecture, IT, design, psychology, innovations...

I know a bit of Spanish (rusty but shouldn't be too bad) and have basic knowledge in Portuguese, Italian. Also a very limited vocabulary in Russian and Vietnamese.

I worked by following a book, tailored lessons linked to specific demands, from conversation to grammar lessons.

Naturally, it's easier to adapt to a specific demand when you teach face to face with just 1 student.

Conversations, exercises, tests, games, audio files, books, visuals, videos, PowerPoint... all can be used to develop speaking, listening, writing and reading skills.

Philippe est un professeur talentueux et il a beaucoup de patience. Il donne des cours d'appui à mes filles (12 et 14 ans) depuis plusieurs mois. Je regrette que je n'ai pas eu un professeur comme Philippe quand j'étais à l'école. Les leçons avec Philippe sont très agréables, il trouve toujours le matériel adapté au niveau de l'apprenant et de temps en temps nos Mademoiselles reçoivent même les devoirs - j'adore . Merci beaucoup Philippe.
