I’m Dr. Ana Voncina — a pianist, musicologist, educator, and composer. Music has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. What I value most about playing the piano is the ability to express thoughts and emotions through music and to connect more deeply with myself. Improvisation has always been especially important to me. I believe it is one of the most natural and rewarding ways to connect with music, develop creativity, and build a deeper understanding of musical language.

Hi, I’m Dr. Ana Voncina — a pianist, musicologist, composer and experienced piano teacher.
My online lessons are for adults and beginners who want more than simply learning notes and pieces. Together, we'll develop your piano skills, musical understanding and creativity — learning music you enjoy while also exploring improvisation, playing by ear and creating your own music.
You don't need any previous experience, and it's never too late to start.
My lessons are supportive, practical and tailored to your goals. Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the piano, or curious about improvisation, I'll help you progress step by step and gain the confidence to truly think in music.
