Hello!
I believe Chemistry is best learned by understanding how it works in the real world. Before becoming an international school teacher, I worked as a Research Associate at a leading university in Hong Kong, where I synthesized new medicinal compounds for drug discovery. This experience taught me how scientists design experiments, analyze data and solve problems—skills that I now bring into my classroom.
I enjoy helping students connect scientific theory with practical laboratory work and real-life applications. This is especially valuable for students completing IB Chemistry Internal Assessments (IA), where careful experimental design, data analysis and scientific thinking are essential.
Teaching is more than a profession for me—it's something I truly enjoy. Watching students gain confidence, overcome challenges and discover their potential is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and making Chemistry a subject you can enjoy and succeed in.

I believe every student can succeed in Chemistry when lessons are clear, engaging and adapted to their individual needs. I begin by assessing each student's current level, strengths and learning goals, then create a personalised study plan.
My lessons focus on building a strong understanding of key concepts before moving on to exam-style questions and problem-solving techniques. I explain difficult topics step by step using clear examples, helping students gain confidence as well as improve their grades.
I teach IB Chemistry (SL & HL), IGCSE and A Level Chemistry (Cambridge International, Edexcel and AQA). My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, international school students and anyone preparing for university entrance or important examinations.
As an experienced international school teacher with a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, I understand both the subject and the examination requirements. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to develop confidence, curiosity and independent learning skills.
