Chris is an extremely talented musician, versatile and patient communicator, and expert instructor who has taught our son on and off for the past six years. We took lessons with Chris in person from 2020 to 2022 and then had to move. At that point we studied with another local pianist, but he just wasn't as skilled of a teacher as Chris. After a year of struggles and stagnation, we moved again but immediately contacted Chris to ask he if could teach our son remotely, which he has graciously done for the past three years. Chris' ability to get the most out of him, tackle difficult repertoire and prepare for multiple competitions is impossible to quantify. But, there is a reason we are still studying with him, and not someone in-person here locally. Chris gets the nuances of teaching and cares about the growth of his students. I highly recommend Chris to teach all ages and abilities. You will not be disappointed.
