Sarah was my mentor teacher when I started at Westside High School five years ago. She made sure to take the time to make sure I was acclimating to the building and culture of high school. I have had the pleasure of watching Sarah interact with students who are of varying academic levels in and out of the classroom. Her teaching style is confident and supportive. She is engaging to watch as a fellow educator and not only would I recommend her as a tutor, I would entrust her with my own children.

Sarah teaches the way people live. Her instructions allowed us to travel and use the language skills we learned from her instead of worrying about language rules we've never used with other language instructors. She's patient and thorough.

I have known Sarah for over 20 years. She was a student of mine when she was in high school, and she most recently was a colleague at the high school we both were employed. She is an outstanding educator! Sarah truly cares about her students, and she has mastery of her content! She holds high expectations for all her students, and she was always highly respected by her students and her colleagues she worked with within her world language department.

I worked closely with Sarah during high school, and she was the kind of teacher that changed my life. While I was a “problem student” freshman year, she gave me an earnest chance to be better and It really paid off- I ended up developing such a passion for French in the following 2 years with her that I was tutoring it myself and placed 4th in my state in the subject by the end of high school!

Sarah’s teaching strategy is very compatible for students with learning disabilities and/or Autism. If you or your child are really struggling with the discipline to learn on your own, she is a fantastic, compassionate guide. She is unconventional and memorable, and her goal is to make sure her students learn the cultures as well as the language. I earnestly & enthusiastically recommend her! She’s not only a great teacher- she is a fantastic mentor as well.

Sarah has been a trusted colleague and friend of mine for 20 years. Her students adore her, and their level of French is "superbe." She is creative, caring, and concise. She gets to know her students to tailor their lessons just for them. From basic conversational French to existential discussions, Sarah has your learning needs covered.
