Hi there! My name is Roy, and I’m here to help you feel ready and confident for your Cambridge speaking exam.
With 23 years of English teaching experience and 14 years as an officially qualified Cambridge Speaking Examiner, I have conducted thousands of real exams from Key (A2) to Advanced (C1).
Because I sit on the examiner's side of the table, I don’t just teach the language—I know the exact scoring criteria, the common mistakes that cost marks, and the precise strategies needed to achieve a top grade.

These lessons are designed to help you quickly improve your score in the Cambridge speaking exam. Every lesson is customized to fit your specific needs and goals.
Our lessons start with a free 30-minute introductory session. Together, we will do a short mock speaking exam so I can see your current level. Right after, I will give you feedback and a clear plan to improve your skills.
During our time together, I will make sure we focus on exactly what you need to succeed:
- Time management: Learning how to take full advantage of your time during the test.
- Scoring opportunities: Seeing how easily missed opportunities can turn into gold.
- Clear structure: Structuring your speech clearly for each part of the exam.
- Language upgrades: Providing you with vocabulary and language that easily improve your score.
- Handling surprises: Helping you prepare for any unexpected situations along the way.
By learning the strategies behind the test, you will build the confidence you need to do your absolute best.
Please note: While our main focus is on speaking, I am also here to help you prepare for all other parts of the Cambridge exam, including Reading, Writing, and Listening.
