Joshua is passionate about all aspects of music making and studying an instrument. As an educator, he is interested in helping his students grow and learn in a steady and sustainable way through setting achievable goals and keeping the material interesting and fun. He is passionate about music and also passionate about learning, something we all can do. He believes that playing an instrument is a perfect way to put learning into practice. You may wish to one day play in an orchestra, a rock or jazz band, or perhaps write and produce your own music. Whatever your inspiration or goal, Joshua will help you reach the next step.
Joshua has more than 10 years as a specialist educator teaching children, adults and groups and will tailor make lessons to suit the needs of the student. He specialises in teaching Drum kit, Percussion, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Rhythm Guitar, Music theory and music production (logic pro) for individuals and groups. He has a broad knowledge of study methods and materials and can provide a clear learning path for you or your group.

In our lessons I will help you to establish clear goals for what you hope to achieve on your instrument. From there we will move into finding the best material to work with. I will suggest resources and also use resources that I have created or will create specifically for you. After these have been established we will work together each week following a clear practice plan and I will offer feedback and instruction within our lessons.
(Lessons will be taught in English, some resources can be provided in French)
