Hi there,
My name’s Oliver – I’d like to help you reach your English language goals.
I’m from the UK, but I live in France. Maybe like you, I had a dream to learn another language so that I could live and work abroad. I started teaching myself French in my mid-twenties and now, I’ve been living and working in France for over 5 years.
I believe that language is for doing things, whether it’s ordering a meal or booking a hotel, understanding what people are talking about on YouTube, or convincing an employer.

We can feel bad about not speaking another language – or not being good enough. I believe that having a motivation is more important than being motivated. If you’re not really going to do anything with a language, why learn it?
By working with me, we’ll identify the things that you want to do with your English so that we can look at subjects and use texts and other media that will be useful to you as we develop your Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening skills.
I am CELTA certified by the University of Cambridge; one of the most widely recognised qualifications for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I speak French, and I have a degree in Linguistics, so I can also give you a unique insight into English using examples from your mother tongue.

Oliver est véritablement un Superprof ! A l'écoute de mes besoins et très disponible, il a non seulement su me donner toutes les clefs pour réussir l'objectif que je m'étais fixée mais aussi me donner confiance en moi pour réussir ! Ce qui a payé puisque j'ai même dépassé l'objectif initial ! Merci Oliver !
Prof super sympathique! Il m’a été d’une grande d’aide pour l’IELTS car il a su cibler mes points faibles et me les faire travailler et approfondir mes acquis. Il a également choisi des sujets qui me plaisait, rendant les cours plus intéressants et fun pour moi.
