À propos de Mai
Hello! Pleasure to meet you.
My name is Mai, and I was born and raise in Lyon, I've always been passionate about languages as I grew up in a multicultural family. I obtained my bachelor degree in business and foreign languages in 2018 and I spent one year in South Korea, as an exchange student where I took some classes that were entirely taught in English such as "Public speaking in a foreign language, political leadership, war and society"... In 2019, I moved to Paris to study marketing (with a specialisation in Korean language) and I spent 3 months in South Korea again, where I worked for a travel agency and at the same time, I was also teaching French language in English to three Korean students. While working in SK, I also helped organising the "World Youth Rally" that was held in Seoul, and for which I had to make a speech about my life goals, based on the Sustainable Development Goals.

I think grammar and vocabulary are important to have a strong basis in any language, but it is nothing if you still feel anxious to speak up. At the end of the day, language is just a tool to communicate with the other person and what matters the most is to have the other person understand you and to be able to say what you really want to. So I will help you be more comfortable with speaking while, at the same time, review with you the grammar and give you vocabulary to memorise.
