À propos de Shelby
I am a 24 year old Masters student born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia USA. After graduating high school I moved "across the pond" to Valencia, Spain where I continued my higher education in communication studies. This is where I first began teaching English to non-native speakers at both primary and secondary schools. Connecting with my students and watching them develop their language skills gave me so much joy!
In 2015 I moved to Belgium where I eventually secured a Bachelors degree in Marketing - Management from UCLL. Currently I am situated in Brussels where I am studying for my MBA from KU Leuven.

My method of teaching is solely based on the needs of my student... Learning a new language at any level is difficult and requires a sense of vulnerability. I want my students to feel as comfortable as possible in order for them to learn in an efficient manner. That being said, I teach by full immersion meaning I will only speak, explain and answer questions in English. I will use handouts, visuals, games and relevant conversation topics to help you improve vocabulary and gain confidence while speaking!
