À propos de Jack Patrick
I am studying Philosophy and Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester. My parents are Swiss and Scottish and I went to the European school of Brussels for 7 years before moving to Germany and studying at the European School of Munich for my last 5 years of education. I have certificates in acting and mime, as well as having organised Model United Nations conferences that accommodated 20 different schools around Europe.

My method of teaching is relaxed and patient. I believe that a comfortable and fun environment in which the pupils themselves can determine the themes and aims of the course is the best way to encourage independent learning. I am of the belief that pupils will engage themselves most with material in which they are opinionated, and this is the best way to stimulate participation regardless of certain language barriers, which is why I love debates and improvisation as a method of improving someone's confidence in a foreign language. That being said, basics of grammar and a range of vocabulary on key topics must also be taught, which I believe can be done very well through oral repetition.
