À propos de Rim
I hold a PhD in Management from the University of Geneva and currently work as a postdoctoral researcher and university instructor. Over the years, I have developed extensive experience in academic research, teaching, writing and supporting students through complex intellectual projects.
I know that writing a Bachelor’s thesis, Master’s thesis or academic essay can feel lonely and overwhelming. Students often have valuable ideas but struggle to organise them, understand academic expectations or translate their thoughts into a clear and convincing argument. I want to share my knowledge because I believe that academic writing should not remain mysterious or intimidating.
What I enjoy most is helping students recognise the value of their own ideas and giving them the tools to express those ideas with clarity, confidence and academic rigour. My aim is to make the research process more understandable, structured and motivating, while respecting each student’s voice and independence.
As someone who has studied, researched and taught in multilingual and international environments, I am particularly sensitive to the challenges faced by students who are writing in English or French as an additional language. I offer a supportive, patient and non-judgmental space in which students can ask questions freely, overcome their difficulties and progress step by step.

My method is different because I do not simply correct a student’s text. I help students understand how academic research works and guide them through the entire thinking and writing process.
I combine the perspective of a researcher, university instructor and academic writer. This means that I can help not only with grammar and style, but also with the deeper elements of a strong thesis: the research question, structure, theoretical framework, methodology, analysis and overall argument.
My approach is highly personalised. I first identify where the student is struggling, whether with organisation, confidence, academic language, methodology or communication with a supervisor. We then develop a clear and realistic plan adapted to the student’s level, discipline and deadline.
I also provide honest, detailed and constructive feedback in a supportive and non-judgmental way. My goal is not to write the work for the student, but to help them become more independent, confident and capable of producing high-quality academic work of their own.
As a multilingual academic, I am also particularly attentive to students who are writing in English or French as an additional language.
