I offer private drum lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced players of all ages. Whether you’re picking up the sticks for the first time, want to learn your favourite songs, or are looking to develop your technique and musicianship, we’ll build the lessons around your goals and interests.
What we can work on
Lessons can include:
Technique, coordination & independence
Learning and analysing your favourite songs
Grooves, fills & different musical styles
Rudiments and hand technique
Rhythm, timing & reading
Playing along with recordings
Improvisation and musicality
Developing your skills for playing with other musicians
Preparing for auditions, exams or performances
If you already have experience, we can also look at what you’ve been practising, identify areas to improve, and create a clear plan for your next stage of development.
The lessons are relaxed and practical, with a strong focus on making music and developing your own musical personality.
