À propos de Lucas
I studied piano for over 10 years at the National Conservatory and continued my musical education at university. During this time, I’ve had the chance to learn from great teachers and explore music both in a formal academic setting and through real-life experience. My background is mainly in classical music, but I’ve also played in rock and blues bands, and over the years, I developed a strong passion for improvisation and composition, especially in jazz, blues, and contemporary styles. I enjoy helping students not only learn to read music, but also to create their own – whether it's writing a song, jamming over chords, or exploring new sounds. Teaching piano is something I’m genuinely passionate about. I try to create a relaxed, patient, and encouraging space where students can enjoy learning, make progress at their own pace, and feel proud of what they achieve. Every student is different, and I always adapt my lessons to fit individual needs and goals. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, I’d be happy to help you on your musical journey.

MY LESSONS ARE ONLINE AND IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH I offer personalized piano lessons for all levels – whether you're just starting out or looking to refine advanced techniques. My classes are tailored to each student's goals, age, and musical interests. What I Offer: For Beginners: Introduction to the piano and keyboard layout Basic music theory (notes, rhythm, intervals) Reading sheet music and chord symbols Hand positioning and posture Simple songs and exercises to build technique Ear training and rhythm practice Fun and encouraging environment For Intermediate Students: Scales, arpeggios, and technical exercises Sight-reading and improvisation Introduction to classical, pop, and jazz styles Playing with both hands independently Understanding chords, harmony, and basic composition Developing musical expression and phrasing For Advanced Students: Advanced technique and repertoire (classical, jazz, modern) Interpretation and stylistic nuance Music analysis and theory in depth Improvisation and advanced chord voicings Composition and arranging Preparation for exams, auditions, or performances Lessons include: One-on-one instruction (in-person or online) Custom lesson plans based on your pace and goals Feedback and practice strategies Optional performance opportunities Support with music school applications or graded exams (ABRSM, RCM, etc.) Whether you dream of playing Beethoven, composing your own music, or jamming with friends, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
