Hi, I'm Edoardo, a PhD researcher in Condensed Matter Physics at the Polytechnic University of Turin. My passion is helping middle and high school students discover that math and physics aren't as hard as they seem.
TEACHING METHOD
I believe true understanding comes from DOING, not memorizing. That's why my approach is built on three pillars:
- **1. Solid foundations:** We start from the basics to fill any gaps, because every complex concept rests on simple fundamentals.
- **2. Active problem-solving:** I guide you through solving exercises by reasoning out loud, not just by showing the solution.
- **3. Personalized method:** Together, we build study strategies tailored to you, to make you independent and confident.
A TYPICAL LESSON
Each lesson is structured yet flexible:
1. **Initial check-in (5-10 min):** We review any doubts that came up during your independent study and homework.
2. **Focused theory review (15-20 min):** I clarify key concepts with concrete examples and intuitive connections.
3. **Guided exercises (20-25 min):** We solve problems together, learning strategies to tackle them.
4. **Final challenge (5-10 min):** I'll give you an exercise to try on your own to check your understanding.
5. **Planning (5 min):** We set clear goals for the next session.
